Herbert Peck - Watchmaker. (K1933,1937)
1935
Herbert Peck's shop window is broken one June evening by a brick wrapped in a bus timetable. The thief
evidently meant to grab the contents of the window but, fortunately for Peck, the brick also broke the glass display shelf and most of the window display fell onto the floor, out of reach. The thief succeeded only in stealing a tray of signet rings. (Source: East Anglian June 8 1935)
